It says my device is not supported

Some devices cannot run Active Living. Where that is the case we would rather tell you plainly than have you spend an afternoon troubleshooting something that cannot be fixed.

iPad and iPod touch

These devices have no Apple Health, so there is no activity data for the app to read, and no setting that changes that.

Active Living works on iPhone. If you have one, sign in there and everything else in your account carries across.

Android 7.1 and older

The Ismaili app needs Android 8.0 or newer.

To check: open Settings, then About phone, and look for Android version.

If your phone can be updated to Android 8 or newer, Active Living will work after the update.

Phones without the Google Play Store

Health Connect — which Active Living depends on — is only distributed through Google Play. Without the Play Store it cannot be installed.

This affects most Huawei phones sold after 2019, and some phones sold in markets where Google services are not available.

Not sure which of these applies to you?

The compatibility checker will tell you in a few taps.

You think this is wrong

If you have an iPhone, or an Android phone running 8.0 or newer with the Play Store, and the app still says your device is not supported, that is a genuine bug and we would like to hear about it.

Tell us what you are seeing — the form asks for your phone model and OS version, which is exactly what we need.
